Introducing Customer Teams
Customer Teams is a new feature that merges two previous Aryeo capabilities:
  • Customer Groups
  • Agent Teams
The "Customer Teams" feature takes the robust configuration setting capability of "Customer Groups" (such as custom pricing and marketing material templates) and combines it with the roster management and shared listing access functionality provided by "Agent Teams" today.
Now, rather than manually configuring team members per agent, you can configure team members for an entire team of agents once, with a single set of settings applied across all of them.
This creates a simpler configuration experience for your business' customer list. You can more easily set up teams of agents, establish roles, configure settings and share listing access for team admins (which is great for listing coordinators or assistants), all in one place.
Customer Group and Team Migration
As part of this release, all previous Customer Groups and Agent Teams were automatically converted into a Customer Team. These new Customer Teams also automatically received all the same settings as the Customer Groups they were converted from. Customers were automatically assigned a user role of ‘member’ or ‘admin’ based on their existing access to other customer’s listings.

Key Functionality
Customer Teams offer all the same functionality as the previous Customer Groups feature. In addition, your customers with the ‘admin’ role will get access to a subset of these actions.

User Roles
Within a Customer Team, your customers can have one of two roles: ‘member’ or ‘admin’. Members receive access to the settings of the Customer Team. Admins are able to view the listings of any member of the team and place an order on behalf of members. Here’s an overview of what permissions these roles grant the customer:

The most common scenario for assigning ‘admin’ status to a customer is when that customer is a listing coordinator, or someone else who would nees to access listings or order on behalf of multiple other customers. You can change the role of any customer within a Customer Team. Admins on the team also have permission to give other customers the admin role.
Accessing Customer Teams
To access the new Customer Teams feature inside your Aryeo account, navigate to the left-side menu and click on “Customers” under the General section:

Then click on “Customer Teams”:

You will then be able to view all of your Customer Teams. You can click “Edit” on a Customer Team to view and adjust the details, members & admins, products, pricing, listings, and other settings for that specific Customer Team:
