These significantly improved analytics have been made available for all properties created in the last couple of months. The new system is privacy focused - it doesn’t collect any personal data ensuring GDPR, PECR and CCPA compliant, and you won't see cookie notices on any property websites (it doesn't even use cookies).
As many web browsers crack down on privacy and block data to traditional analytics tools like Google Analytics, we see this privacy-focused approach as essential.
Plus, we thing the added functionality will serve as a big improvement over our previous tool set. We'd love to highlight a few of these below:
Active Visitors
Clicking the "1 Current visitor" set at the top of the site opens the purple dropdown shown below. This shows active visitors viewing that property website right now!
Time Filtering
Filter through various preset time ranges or set your own custom data range to see exactly the analytics data you want. This can all be done from the date dropdown in the upper right corner of your screen.
Additional Data Fields
Our previous analytics system also offered insights into top referrers (other websites that viewers of the property websites are visiting from). This is an excellent feature for gauging the success of Facebook ads or other lead gen campaigns that hope to drive traffic that listing's property websites.
The new analytics system keeps this functionality and adds even more insights, including device type, browser, and country of viewers.
